Molly + Kory / a New Year's Eve wedding at Grand River Center in Dubuque, IA d

Molly and Kory started their new chapter as a married couple with a New Year’s Eve wedding in Dubuque, Iowa at the Grand River Center. It is such an awesome venue right on the Mississippi River. For a New Year’s wedding of course there had to be lots of glitter & gold, heartfelt toasts, yummy desserts, adult drinks and an epic party! The Horans had it covered, it was a wedding all in attendance won’t soon forget!

Molly’s stunning dress was from Brandi’s Bridal Galleria and my goodness was it absolutely perfect for this glowing bride. The rest of the wedding party looked great in their attire from David’s Bridal and Men’s Wearhouse. They always have lots of styles and color options that make it so easy to coordinate. Salon 84 nailed it with the girls’ looks and Melanie’s Flowers brought the most beautiful bouquets (per usual)!

The ceremony went off without a hitch! They even took a moment to burn the letter H into a large piece of wood to use as their “guestbook.” How unique is that?! I must say though, the descent down the stairs afterward was a little…nerve-racking, to say the least! Who knew the confetti poppers would be like freaking spider webs and nearly send the newlyweds tumbling down the stairs. Note to future brides, if you do a confetti exit, make sure they’re short pieces. Lol! Thankfully, all made it down safely.

I’m pretty sure it goes without saying that everyone had a blast celebrating the happy couple. I love seeing a packed dance floor! Tim, with A Special Event DJ, did a great job of keeping the party going all night.

There were a lot of laughs, well-wishes, hugs and heart shared on 12/31/23 in Dubuque, Iowa. Molly and Kory shared vows, exchanged rings, said “I do” and shared a kiss in front of all their favorite people. Then they ran into their reception together as husband and wife and celebrated all night with even more of their favorite people. Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Horan and Happy New Year to all!
