Laura / a sweet one-year-old + her mommy and daddy at the Arboretum

Baby Laura is such an adorable little peanut! I had such a lovely morning chatting with her beautiful mama and getting to capture memories for this little family of three! Born at just over 5 lbs, she sure has grown a lot in one year!

We wandered around the Bickelhaupt Arboretum in Clinton, Iowa to find a few great spots for Laura’s photo shoot. One thing we were surprised by was just how much dew there was that morning! It seriously felt like it had just rained; also, the grass was newly mowed so the adults were all covered to the ankles in grass clippings… but we pressed on, hobbit feet and all!

It ended up being such a beautiful morning and I love how their pictures turned out! More to come, but here’s a sneak peek!
